◆2010年、不思議な縁（娘のホストファミリー）でお付き合いが始まり5年がたちます。私は英語が得意ではありませんが、今でもたくさんのメールと写真のやりとりをしています。家族の誕生日には送り物とカードが届きHappy
birthdayの電話が必ずあります。両親のRayとJennyさんは7人の子供に恵まれ、愛情いっぱい育てられた子供たちは皆立派に独立されています。二人はとても思いやりがあり家族を大切にされ、何事にもポジティブで生活をとても楽しんでいます。
東北大地震のあと福島の原発事故があった時、狭い日本にいる私たち家族を心配して ”事態が落ち着くまで家族でオーストラリアに来てください・・・。” と真剣にメールで連絡があった時はその優しさに驚きました！
この時期、宮崎の口蹄疫や原発の風評被害やらで牛肉を取り巻く環境は最悪な状態でしたがFarrow家との付き合いのなかで仕事に希望をもて前向きになれたことはとても良かったと感じています。
2011年、忙しく(1週間)私たちに会いに来てくれた時の写真とオーストラリアfamilyの写真を載せました。

'I have come
to know the SAITO family through being home stay host family here in Australia
for their daughter earlier this year and much communication since. I have come
to know Mr Junichi SAITO and his family as very thoughtful, conscientious,
considerate and hard working folks. They have become like family to myself and
my family and I realise we have a lot in common. I grew up on my father's
20,000 acre cattle station (or cattle property) in Central Queensland and had my
own herd of cattle and all our cattle work was done on horseback so I learned to
care for cattle and how to break-in horses at an early age. After I graduated from high school I also did
contract mustering on many surrounding large cattle stations including large
cattle studs (i.e., Joyce & Joyce - Gyranda Santa Gertrudis Stud.) I did this to increase my knowledge of
rearing and handling many different breeds of cattle of both Bos indicus (zebu)
and Bos taurus types of cattle (and general stock work) because of their many
and varied behavourial traits and so I was excited to find that I share a lot of
common interests with Junichi in his love of his herd and making sure his cattle
are amongst the best beef cattle in Japan.
I note he has many champion award winning cattle. I would recommend his beef cattle to anyone
as I know he always strives for excellence and he has become an expert in his
field.’
